Our Family Body Mass Index (BMI) Calculator uses the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) formulas and healthy weight recommendations for detecting overweight or underweight.
There are five calculators in the App:
• For newborns up to 13 weeks of age
• For children under 2 years old
• For children from 2 to 5 years old
• For children from 5 to 19 years old
• For adults
Based on the entered parameters, the overweight and the norm are calculated. All calculators for children take into account the age and gender of the child. For each children’s age range, you can see the WHO growth standards.
